1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Unspoken (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Unspoken is an AI-powered relationship communication platform. We provide:

• Personality and relationship assessments
• Compatibility reports for couples
• Guided communication exercises

Important: Unspoken is a communication tool, not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice. We do not provide mental health services, diagnose conditions, or offer treatment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Unspoken. By using our service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Communications

By creating an account, you consent to receive email communications from us about:

• Account and assessment notifications
• Feature updates
• Marketing communications (which you can opt out of at any time)

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

Some parts of Unspoken are paid. One person pays and both partners are always included:

• Full Couples Report — a one-time purchase of US$4.99 that unlocks your complete report.
• Guided Exercises — an optional subscription of US$9.99 per month that renews automatically until you cancel. Includes unlimited use of Cool-Down, our conflict de-escalation feature; every couple may use Cool-Down twice at no charge before subscribing.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card details. By purchasing, you authorize the applicable one-time or recurring charge.

Auto-renewal & cancellation: Subscriptions renew automatically each month at the then-current price. You can cancel anytime from your Account Settings; cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: Because reports and insights are generated and delivered immediately, one-time purchases are generally non-refundable. If something went wrong — a failed generation, a duplicate charge, or a technical error — email contact@unspoken.to within 14 days and we will make it right. Subscription fees already billed for the current period are non-refundable, but you will not be charged again after you cancel. Nothing here limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Prices are in US dollars and may change with notice; a change never affects a purchase you have already made.

6. AI-Generated Content & Accuracy

Your reports, insights, and exercises are generated by artificial intelligence based on the answers you and your partner provide. AI can be wrong, incomplete, or miss important context. Treat everything Unspoken produces as a starting point for your own reflection and conversation — not as fact, diagnosis, or professional advice. You are responsible for how you choose to act on it.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Unspoken — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Unspoken is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unspoken shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for relationship outcomes, emotional distress, or reliance on our assessments or recommendations.

Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Unspoken after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
